Love Island Gabby Allen to be celebrity guest at Bierkeller this weekend

Liverpool  Love Island favourite Gabby Allen will be back home and reliving her romantic TV exploits as Capital Liverpool takes over the Bierkeller in Liverpool ONE to create its own version … Liv Island.

Allerton-born fitness instructor Gabby, who coupled up with ex-Blazin Squad member Marcel to reach the final of the show, will be the celebrity guest at an afternoon of entertainment tomorrow  (Saturday 5th August).

The event, which runs from 3pm to 7pm, is raising money for Global’s Make Some Noise campaign, in support of Liverpool children’s charity Zoe’s Place, so there’s a donation for entry.

There’ll be DJ sets from Capital presenters Liam Hincks and Anton Powers during the day, plus a Liv Island challenge to find Liverpool’s most loved-up couple. This will be followed by The Big Pub Quiz hosted by Capital Liverpool Breakfast presenters Gemma, Adam and Dylan with huge prizes up for grabs including Fusion Festival weekend tickets.

The event is the first in a year-long charity partnership between Bierkeller Entertainment Complex and Global’s Make Some Noise which gives a voice to small charities and projects across the UK that struggle to raise awareness.

Liverpool Bierkeller general manager Sean Maguire explained:

“Love Island has been so huge this series, everyone’s been talking about it, so we thought it would add to the fun to get Gabby along to join in on Saturday.

“It’s called Liv Island, because it’s a Scouse version, and we’ll be having a Love Island quiz and getting couples to do challenges over the day, inside the bar and out in the beer garden if the weather’s good.

“We’re really pleased to have Gabby confirmed for the event because it’s all about raising awareness and money for Zoe’s Place which does such a great job for the children in its care and their families,” added Sean.

“We’ll be raising money all year in partnership with Global’s Make Some Noise, so it’s great to have Gabby involved to get the ball rolling. We don’t know yet whether or not she’ll be bringing Marcel – we’ll just have to wait and see on Saturday!”
